Road Trip to Avila

Hi, everyone! and Welcome September! This month at Trail Makers Challenge Blog, each DT girl chose different products to work with and we used up some of the older products.

For this weekend only if you make a purchase at The Paper Trail store you will receive a 15% discount on your total purchase using the code CleanOut. Just stop by The Paper Trail and start shopping! The discount will be good through monday September 5.

In addition, The Paper Trail store is sponsoring the September Month Long Sketch Challenge at Let's Scrap. The sketch is from Julie Bonner. You can find out more about the September challenge by going there.

For my debut project, I pulled out the "Old School" from Pink Paislee and the "Out of Print" from Basic grey to create this lovely layout.

Here we are - the group that went together to Avila, while the students went to their conferences at Madrid. My first son is missing in the photo since he was the photographer. Definitely, a must have side trip if you are in Madrid.

I used sketch #61 from Sketch Savvy. Since I used a sketch I am submitting this layout to the open challenge at Sketches in Thyme.

Some Close Ups:

I layered a flower pop sticker from the "Out of Print" collection to the Parisian Anthology corrugated chipboard flower and banner.

Close up of the title work and the journaling sticker. The title is a die cut from Crate paper and the journaling sticker belongs to Sassafras.
Close up of the die cut flourishes.

Supplies from The Paper Trail:

Patterned Papers:
Pink Paislee - Old School - Goody 2 Shoes
Basic Grey - Out of Print - Tribune
Basic grey - Out of Print - Special Feature

Basic Grey - Out of print - Pops Layered Stickers
Sassafras - Indie Girl - Cardstock Stickers Journal Tags

Alphabet Stickers:
Sassafras - Glitter Alphabet - Chocolate
Basic Grey - Out of Print - Alphabet Stickers

Die Cuts:

All right! Do not forget to check out the Trail Makers challenge blog. Each designer chose different products to showcase from the store.

I will come later with my take in the September Challenge from Scrapbookers Anonymous! It is all about using your chipboard stash! Thanks for visiting today!
