This candid moment was captured when my boys gave to their dad the presents that morning. I will never forget those smiles. So happy this memory is already kept in my scrapbooks.
I used the May 2011 Main Kit from 3 Scrappy Boys which features Basic Grey Life of the Party collection. This polka dot paper combines very well with the gift wrap paper from the presents in the photos. Just everything you see is included in the kit. I just added Maya Road "Antique Silver" mist to the chipboard stars and the kraft tag. Love this mist color from Maya Road. I wrote in my notebook that I need more metallic colors, like bronze and gold. Even the silver chain from the Maya Road key chain was the perfect accent for my tag instead of using a ribbon.
I was inspired in the current sketch (June 9) from Sketchy Thursdays. I am entering this scrapbook layout in The Kraft Journal: Father's challenge too.
In addition, it is the 15th when Scrapbookers Anonymous challenge blog reveal the cards created with the current challenge from the month. I used once again my BG Wander mini pad and a sketch from Card Patterns. The cards made by the design team are just amazing! Remember, you have until the end of the month to participate in this challenge! Creating a card with a mini pad, should be easy for all the card makers in the online world! Isn't it?
Here is my simple card:
The stamp is from Stampin' Up! "All Holidays", Cardstock: Stampin' Up: Crushed Curry, Ink: Soft Suede, Corrugated frame: Jillibean Soup, brads: My Mind's Eye.
I am really surprised with all the cards, I had already done this month! Hope to keep this up, so I can improve my card making skills. I admit, it is getting easier!
I am entering this card to the following challenges:
- PaperCraft Star: Challenge #50: S: Stamp, T: Tape, A: Adhesive, R: Red (color)
- Card Patterns: sketch #119
Keep tuned, I have more layouts to share in the coming days.
Have a wonderful wednesday!
