It's School Time

My kids completed their school year last friday, therefore I am really enjoying the "lazy" days of summer.  LOL! But the "Lazy" is in quotes since mother duties and the house does not recognize vacations. However the slower pace and the extra one hour wakeup time are really well appreciated.

This week, we want to see your school theme projects at The Paper Variety.

The Paper Variety is sponsoring this challenge and will award this "Crate Paper" School Spirit kit to one lucky randomly chosen winner.
Honestly, I have dozens of school portraits, pictures, school's events just waiting to be scrapbooked.
This time I scrapped in chronological order. This layout documents the first time I went with my son to school to pickup his uniforms and books. He was four years old at the photo, but it seems like yesterday. This layout was based in a sketch from Sassafras Manufacturer's blog designed by Marcy Penner. I used the Cherry Delicious collection and beautiful journaling die cuts from Elle's Studio.

Now, it is your turn! Get out all your school theme photos and scrapbook supplies and link up your school theme project before tuesday at noon.

Have a wonderful week!

what a sweet photo and LO. I'm part way through a school LO and have some more in my 'to scrap' pile - I'll pop by the challenge when they're done.
