Hi! Happy Monday everyone! First thank you so much for all your sweet comments yesterday! They made me smile, I appreciate them all! Your comments are the ones that inspires me to get out of my comforting scrapping zones and to try new techniques! Thanks again!
Today, I am sharing the last layout I created for Scrapbook Challenges. I am so happy that finally I got to scrap my first photo from our vacations at Culebra last Thanksgiving week. I love so much the beach photos I took on that vacations, but I want to scrap them with the current summer collections. Now you are advised to expect seeing more beach photos at this blog. Well, this blog should make honor to its title, isn't it??!!! :)
This photo shows Luis and me in front of our cabin just waiting for my DH to get ready for thanksgiving dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Diego took the photo for us! Definitely, this one was the non traditional thanksgiving photo.
This layout was created with sketch #252 from Scrapbook Challenges and it was designed by the fabulous Jolanda.
I used the April 2011 Main Kit from 3 Scrappy Boys. It features Cosmo Cricket Social Club. Loves so much the Prima flower that Heather included in the kit. Love this palette of blues and greens combined with neutrals and the mix of fabrics and canvas.
Here is one close-up:
I misted the white Kaisercraft doily (included in March 2011 Trio Kit) with Tattered Angels "Crushed Shells" mist. The soft blue doily is from Kaisercraft too. The fabric polka dot button is from Purple Pumpkin. The butterfly is from Cosmo Cricket social club. Love the blue color tones here.
Here is another close-up:
The title is from Studio Calico. Love the font and colors of this alphabet stickers. The sentiment was cut from patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket circa 1934 collection.
