This month at Scrapbookers Anonymous, we want you to use your eyelets. Not 2 or 3 or 10!!! We want you to use at least 23 eyelets. Are they too much??? No!!!!!!!!
Do you remember when eyelets were a hot item? I need to admit that I was lucky to find my Making Memories eyelet setter. But I am really so happy that I was able to participate in this challenge. Since, I love, love how this layout turned out. Sometimes, old techniques are what is needed to add just the right touch to our scrapbook projects.
If you do not have eyelets in your stash, or they just went away at your last spring cleaning from your stash. You can use grommets. Grommets function in most of the same way as the eyelets, except that they are bigger and hold much more space. In addition, that they have beautiful decorative designs.
I took some of my eyelets in pastel colors and placed them at random for one of my flower's die cuts. For this fun challenge, I was inspired to use one of the new collections from My Little Shoebox, Home Tweet Home. Even more I used the March sketch created by Aphra at My Little Shoebox blog.
This paper collection combines perfectly with this photo of Luis and me at Walt Disney Studios. I still remember all the beautiful flowers everywhere. Photo dates from June, 2009. Sigh, I still have lots of photos from that trip.
If you want to join us, do not forget to check the awesome ideas created by the other designers at Scrapbookers Anonymous blog.
Come on!!! I know you want to play along with us! Show us, what can be done with eyelets!!
