The (Paper) Trail Makers Banner Challenge * Blog Hop Rak Winner Announcement * Dusty Attic

This month's first challenge at The (Paper) Trail Makers is the following:

Use our Banner as inspiration for your project!! You can use anything about it that you would like - the design, the colors, or something else from it to inspire your creation! Have fun with it and let us know what inspired your creation!

As always - you have two weeks (until Sat. April 16th at 5pm EST)to submit your creations using Mr. Linky

If you would like to be considered for a spot as a guest designer on our team you need to participate in BOTH challenges for the month AND leave us a comment telling us you would like to be considered for a guest DT spot. We will then enter your name to win a spot as our JUNE guest designer.

As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew that I would use Echo Park, Be Mine collection. I was inspired in the colors from the banner. The banner's colors are almost identical to the Echo Park papers.

Love how this Echo Park collection combines with one of the sentiments of Krisi's KreationsScrapMattersButtoned Up sentiments: "thanks for all you do".

This sentiment "thanks for all you do" was perfect for this layout which express my love for my dear husband.

I was able to use some of the gorgeous chipboard embellishment from Pink Paislee: Parisian Anthology Corrugated Elements. Love how that Eiffel tower looks at this layout.

Like how "Buttoned Up: sentiments" looks against kraft cardstock. I applied Ranger Liquid Pearls in platinum to the corrugated flowers. This dimensional paint can be found in the Leave a Paper Trail store, also.

Do you know that Dusty Attic products are available in the Leave a Paper Trail store? Yes!!! Now you can buy this fabulous chipboard shipped from continental U.S.A. How cool is that!!!

There are more than 25 different chipboard pieces to choose from. And they are flying from the shelves. I advise you to check them soon, for the best selection!!

And now I want to announce the winner from "Welcome to the Neighborhood" Blog Hop!
Using Random.org

The winner is Savanna Lea
