No Place Like Home

Hi! Happy Wednesday. It is time to share challenge #29 from The Paper Variety. This time, it is super easy!!! Just use flowers!!!

Here is my take to this wonderful challenge:
"No Place Like Home" I feel blessed to live in a beautiful island with a year round warm climate. Just in case, if you do not know it already, we are at a spanish fort. The round tower is called in spanish "la garita". The photo was taken one week previous our wedding in 2001. Now this fort "San Geronimo" is close to the public.

As a mother of two handsome boys, I consider me a "boy scrapper", but I love to create "travel" and "me" layouts, as in this case, as a big excuse to use flowers.

I love to use handmade and store bought flowers as in this layout. The handmade flowers are from Precocious Papers. The yellow flower is from Prima.

For this layout, I used an expired sketch from Sketchy Thursdays, which I do not submitted to this sketch site, but saved it for this TPV reveal. The papers are from Studio Calico, Countryside.

If you play along, upload your project at The Paper Variety for the chance to win a beautiful kit from Citrus Tree Studios sponsored by one of our designers, Patti. Please remember, you have until next Tuesday at noon, to qualify for this amazing prize!!

Have a wonderful day!

Yara

This is a lovely page - I'm a mom of three boys, I don't do much 'me' scrapping but I LOVE travel scrapping!
