Hi everyone! Wish you had a wonderful weekend! Mine was a great one! We had a lot of family time, which it is always good!
Last friday was DS field day, which is always fun! On saturday, we went to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese, then we did a car trip through all the east border of Puerto Rico. I took photos from my kids at Punta Santiago's beach.
Sadly, I did not have my camera, but I took lots of them with my iphone. Hopefully, I will upload them to my computer tonight! On sunday, we went to another birthday party. As you can imagine, no scrapbooking for me during the weekend!
On the scrapping front, today I am sharing my take in sketch #249 from Scrapbook Challenges. This sketch was designed by the very talented Jolanda.
At first, I was clue less on how to start. But then, I found some circle elements from my stash, like the Maya Road doilies, hence the inspiration. I love this sketch!!! It was perfect for my journaling.
Journaling: " Last year, I decided to stop following the local news. Most of it, it is so negative. I choose to be surrounded by the positive. Please do not judge me! I feel so impotent to resolve our social problems. I just pray! I prefer to focus in my husband, my kids, my family. I pray to God to show me the way" Photo date: 2011
