So, if you are coming from Shannon you are in the right place! If not, head back to THE PAPER VARIETY to get started from the beginning and see a list of all the links if you get lost along the way. You don't want to miss a thing! :)
Our challenge this week is a COLOR challenge in honor of the upcoming St. Patrick's Day holiday :)
Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Your Scrapbook Stash!
In order to win this GRAND PRIZE you need to submit your own GREEN project toThe Paper Variety by Tuesday at NOON. If you submit before Sunday evening, you have a chance to have your blog featured on TPV! ;)
To get you inspired, I want to share with you....
When I saw this challenge prompt (create a project with at least 50% green) I knew I wanted to create a scene scrapbook layout. I decided to scrap "The Tree of Life" from Animal Kingdom from our visit to Florida last summer.
I was hoarding this MME Quite Contrary paper from my stash and I was so happy to finally use it. I loved combining the trees paper with my clouds paper for my scene. Some stickers, fussy cut trees and clouds were attached with pop-dots to add dimension.
The original color from the Prima flower was cream. I applied green mist to this flower to better combine with the patterned papers. Love the glitter effect of the glimmer mist.
Thanks so much for visiting today! It wouldn't be a hop without some BLOG CANDY :)
This is an assortment of 15 patterned papers from Sassafras, Lily Bee, KI Memories and Basic Grey with several embellishments from Prima, Petaloo, KI Memories, Imaginesce...
Please become a follower and leave a comment
below to win! You do not need to enter the challenge to win blog candy.
However, you ARE going to want to hop to the next design team member to see their GREEN!
We are looking forward to seeing YOUR green at THE PAPER VARIETY, too! Remember to link up before TUESDAY at noon for a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE! :)
Have a wonderful day!!!!
