Beach Vacations in Puerto Rico

During Thanksgiving week, we went to Culebra, Puerto Rico. Today, I am sharing some of the photos of our trip.

On monday, maritime weather was turbulent so the ferry to Culebra was suspended and we had to get a charter plane from Ceiba, Puerto Rico airport. This family photo was taken by the pilot.

Some views of Culebra taken from the inside of the airplane. This is a 15 minutes flight, but full of beautiful aerial views.

Finally, on that day we arrived to "Playa Flamenco"

These are some of the gunnery leftovers by the US Navy at Culebra.
From wikipedia: In 1939, the U.S. Navy began to use the Culebra Archipelago as a gunnery and bombing practice site. This was done in preparation for the United States' involvement in World War II. In 1971 the people of Culebra began protests, known as the Navy-Culebra protests, for the removal of the U.S. Navy from Culebra. Four years later, in 1975, the use of Culebra as a gunnery range ceased and all operations were moved to Vieques.

My kid ate everyday Shark kabobs for lunch. They are delicious.

They liked "agua de coco" too!

On the hammock at the pool from the hotel. The water at the pool is too cold. The water at the beach is warmer and more fun!!

They loved this playground!
The view of Ecological school. The power source and water supplies from this school comes from the sun light and rain.

We had fun building a sand castle!

My kids doing body surfing!

One of my favorite photos at Playa Flamenco. This photo will go to a layout for sure.

They found this star fish at Playa Tamarindo. We had a lot of fun feeding the fish.

Previous Thanksgiving dinner we took some photos. This is in front of our room.

Another photo at the garden from the hotel previous "Thanksgiving Dinner".

Hoping you had enjoyed my beach vacations summary at Culebra, Puerto Rico. We really had a great time, for sure we will return again!

Wishing everyone a happy sunday!
Yara
