Top 100 Books: Pride and Prejudice

This year, I took the personal challenge to read in ten years the top 100 books of all times, according to Newsweek magazine. At the beginning of July, I completed my second book of the one hundred books from my reading list. The book was Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I loved reading this book.

I admit that I completely feel, the last person that had read this classic.  But now, I understand why, there are so many Jane Austen fans!! Her novels are a must read by every woman. Her work is fabulous!!!!
As I did with War & Peace book, I already saw two of the movies related to this beautiful classical novel.

Pride and Prejudice (Restored Edition)  Pride & Prejudice
I enjoyed both novels, even though I personally prefer the one with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. For me, the timeline and the acting are more similar to what it is written with the book. Even more, I feel inspired to read many of the literary adaptations of Pride and Prejudice. But this will take years!!! I know, I know, focus!!!

Now, I am reading Ulysses. I think, I need to hurry up, if I want to complete my 2010 reading goal. This can be using less Goggle Reader. :(!!!!

See you soon!!!
