"5 facts about you" Scrapbook Layout

Today, I am at home with my kids. My dear husband is at work. Classes in Puerto Rico were suspended, today, due to the pass of hurricane Earl. We were fortunate, this hurricane did not pass through Puerto Rico. Right now, it is cloudy, and we have a little breeze. We have electricity and water, and we had it all the time, yesterday, which is good!!!

Hurricane Earl brought cooler weather to my house!! The photo below, courtesy from Intellicast website, shows the track from hurricane "Earl".

And, what I did?? I scrapped and finished a layout. This one is dedicated to Luis!!!.
I just wrote 5 facts from him (photo taken on February, 2010), when he was 5 years old. Right now, they seems trivial. But by my experience, if I do not track these facts right now, they can be easily forgotten, 20 to 30 years later.

The layout was made according to sketch "77 from The Scrappiest. The colors were inspired from Simply Scrapping Craft, Color Combo Challenge (August 2010, week 4). I am submitting this layout to the current challenge of Practical Scrappers, which requires the use of white pen. I did stitching marks around the big circle, on the black cardstock. Cool!

Patterned Paper: Lily Bee Design, Hello Sunshine Collection: Fly a Kite, Posies, Picnic, Twirl
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics (White, Black)
Alphabets: Basic Grey, American Crafts Chit Chat Puffy Thickers (White)
White Pen: Sakura Gelly Roll
Buttons: Unknown
