It is a Small World at Disneyland Paris

It's A Small World
On June 5, 2009, we went to Disneyland Paris. One of the attractions, we enjoyed was It's A Small World.  This is one of the Disney attractions, I like the most, and always ride it, when I am at Disney parks.

It is a boat ride located in the Fantasyland area of the park. The ride features 400 brightly costumed dolls in the style of children of the world. The dolls sing the ride's titled track, which has a theme of global peace. In Paris, the son is also sung in German, French and Arabic. In Disneyland Paris park, the attraction is somewhat different from other versions of the ride. The scenieric and music are done in a different style. There is a different room for North America, which dolls represent Canada and United States. This version also contains a complete Middle East section ( in which the song is sung in Arabic). In the Final room, in addition to the song being sung in English, it is also sung in French and German. (Note: Written from Wikipedia).

By Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman

It's a world of laughter,
A world of tears,
It's a world of hopes,
And a world of fears.
There's so much that we share,
That it's time we're aware,
It's a small world after all.

It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small, small world.

There is just one moon,
And one golden sun.
And a smile means,
Friendship to every one.
Though the mountains divide,
And the oceans are wide,
It's a small world after all.

The basic supplies (cardstock and patterned paper) came from a Make and Take from Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event). However, I added additional supplies, and I deviated significantly from the M&T layout, to follow SSC sketch.
  • Patterned Paper: Sassafras Lass Pocket Full of Rosies
  • Stickers: American Crafts Thickers Rockabye Foam Letters
  • Stickers:American Crafts Thickers Giggles Foam Letters
