My son at Notre Dame de Paris

Hi! Everyone! Very happy, that summer started already!!!!! My big kid, graduated from Kinder!!!! The graduation was spectacular!!! All the kids sang in english, so beautifully, and the coreography, and their oratory!!! I was really impressed!!! I am happy because, we will slow down a little bit the pace. I will not miss waking up at 5am, for our morning commute. Really!!! A two months break, it is really nice!!!

*************************************************

I created this layout as part of Big Picture Scrapbooking Dimensional Details class (week 1) with Nic Howard. I used the color challenge prompt from Design Dollies.
Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Little Yellow Bicycle Traveler TRA-104 Mid Summer Night Dots &
Scenic Route Background Blue Grid Worn
Cardstock: Bazzill Krafts
Alphabet Thickers: American Crafts (brown)
Felt Rose: Prima Marketing Inc. De Vines 8"
Tools: Cricut Expressions Cartridge: Plantin Schoolbook
Marker: Stampin Up stampin' write chocolate chip

The Design Dollies color challenge was to create something new with the following colors:
BLUE, GREEN, BROWN and WHITE (or ivory).

I did not created anything new, since I followed class instruction's, but this layout was inspired from the colors required. Soon, I saw this color chart, I knew Traveler collection from Little Yellow Bicycle, was perfect for the challenge.

Hoping everyone a happy weekend!
Yara
