A Summer Layout "Goggles"

Summer at the caribbean is filled with a lot of sun, pool and beach leisure time. Our family is not an exception to this summer generalization. Since, we live in the caribbean, we strongly need to escape from the heat.

On June, 2008, we went for a weekend to "El Conquistador" Hotel at Fajardo, Puerto Rico. My son is already a swimmer expert, had already took a lot of swimming classes and enjoy showing his goggles, everywhere. I strongly recommend very bright green goggles for children. They are very useful to identify kids at the pool, especially when they really swim like a fish.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: American Crafts Everyday and Celebration, KI Memories Flourishes, Buttons: Doddlebug, Foam: American Crafts, Label: Making Memories, Tools: Stampin Up scallop border punch, Alphabet Sticker: Doodlebug.

The "Goggles" layout was inspired by the challenge from Simply Scrapping Crafts, Simply Sweet Color Challenge March 2010 Week 2. In addition, I wanted to participate in the challenge #114 from Sketch Inspiration. Also, I assured that I included a mix of at least five patterned papers for this layout to be eligible for The Scrap Room Blog Challenge, Weekly Challenge #10.

I really enjoy to create layouts, where they are eligible for more than one online challenge. I am always looking to earn some prizes to add to my scrapbook stash.

Awesome layout Yara! Love the bright colors! The "green goggle" advice you gave is so true!!! I now know why my mom always bought me the most obnoxious pair she could find ;)
