School Art

This week, I created the layout "School Art" according to Simply Sweet Color Challenge, March 2010 Week 1 from the community Simply Scrapping.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Mellow, Scalloped Circle: Bazzill, Flowers: Prima, Stickers: Stampin Up Simply Scrappin' Scrapbooking kit Primary Colors, Rhinestone Brads: Stampin Up Fire Squares, School Sticker: Top Line Creations, Chipboard letters: Autumn Leaves, Tools: Cricut Cartridge: Plantin Schoolbook (Circle cut at 10.5 inches)

From the color combination, I searched through my stash, and found out that Basic Grey Mellow combines perfectly with the colors from challenge. Then, I searched through my albums to find these photos from my son, posing for the camera "its style", showing the turkey craft he did at school due to the holidays. Photo was taken on November 22, 2007.

I combined this challenge with the sketch from Simply Scrapping Sketchy Saturday, March 2010 Week 1. The challenge required a scalloped circle, which is one of my favorites sketches type.

Love online challenges, because, in addition to accelerate the decision making, I can use my stash, and scrap old events like this one from November 2007.

I imagine my life, like a million pieces puzzle. And this hobby, provides me the chance to present my family life here, little by little with small snapshots.

Wishing everyone a happy day! And thanks for stopping by!!!
