It is expected that temperatures will be above 90 Fahrenheit from the start of spring season until november. With the high costs of electricity, where I live, this are not so good news.
The prompt #12 from Book Weekly Challenge Log Your Memory is: "What is your favorite season?" I did the following layout titled Winter.
Supplies: Patterned Paper: Basic Grey, Offbeat, Boxer and Infuse, embellishments: Basic Grey Offbeat and Origins, Tag: Basic Grey Fruitcake, Alphabet: American Crafts, Thread: Making Memories (color cream)
The journaling: My favorite season is winter. The weather is cool, we can feel the breeze, the feeling of new beginnings and goal setting. Winter is the best season where, I leave. We can go to the beach everyday of the year. Here is the evidence, this photo was taken on December 28, 2009.
Winter means for me, no two or three obliging showers/day. No ponytails. We can dress without worrying about heat survival. We can feel comfortable in jeans and still wearing sandals. When the springs begins, starts the heat, and it is not comfortable anymore. Then to wait for December again.
The sketch is from Julie Bonner for The Scrap-Room Blog Weekly Challenge #11. In addition, I used more than three different Basic Grey papers, to participate in Simply Scrapping Crafts Basic Grey Challenge for march 2010.
